Welcome to our research search tool, which allows you to pull up a list of selected references that match the criteria you enter on the search form below.
Categories available are: Androgens; Estrogens; Progesterone; Bone: Brain; Breast; Cardiovascular; Formulations; Menopausal Symptoms; Premenopause; Progestin; Safety; Uterus.
Here's how it works.
The search boxes above are followed by a drop-down list of searchable fields. Clicking on the down arrow shows you those fields. You can enter up to four search terms and link them with "AND" or "OR", as shown in the drop down list on the left side of the search boxes.
For example, to pull up a whole category, e.g. references about estrogens, simply enter "estrogens" in the search box and select "category" in the drop-down list. Categories correspond to the topics on the summary pages under "Resources and Research". Therefore, to find papers on a particular area of progesterone research, for example "Progesterone and the Nervous System/Brain", enter "progesterone" AND "brain" in the search tool to get all the papers in that category. Available categories are listed at the bottom of this page.
You can also search for words in the titles and summaries by selecting those fields. For example, if you are looking for papers where "testosterone" is mentioned in the title or summary, enter "testosterone" and the field "Title" OR "testosterone" and the field "Summary". You can find papers published in a specific year by entering a publication year in that field. You can also find specific authors that you are looking for.
To keep it simple, just enter a term you hope to find in "All Fields". That way, if you're not sure what the category might be, you will find everything relevant where the word you want to find appears in the title, category, or summary fields. For example, to find any papers on any hormone that refer to breast cancer, simply enter "breast cancer" in the first search box and leave the selection at "All Indexed Fields".
