At Women in Balance, we believe it is time to approach women’s health and changes in her life in a balanced, integrated and individualized way. In this section we provide information from some of our medical experts. Gain knowledge to assist women. Optimal Health & Hormone Balance The foundation of optimal women's health begins with healthy lifestyle choices: nutrition, exercise, stress management, enough sleep, and when appropriate nutritional supplements. Some women may need to rebalance their hormones through supplements or with bioidentical hormones. There is no one dose or approach to optimal health that fits every woman. Ideally, women should work with a qualified health care professional knowledgeable about hormone balance to determine what she needs and whether she needs to supplement hormones. If needed, natural, bioidentical hormones should be used in physiologic doses.
