Women in Balance has called upon the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to preserve the choices women have for hormone balancing therapy, and to promote more research into bioidentical hormone treatment options.  Wyeth pharmaceutical company filed a petition with the FDA in October 2005 that seeks to limit women and doctors access to bioidentical hormones.

We are working on the forefront of this issue and have met with Capitol Hill leaders, women's health advocates, and contacted our extensive health network, and thousands of women to voice their opposition to the petition, and to advance more research and education.  Over forty thousand comments and letters have been sent to the FDA opposing the Wyeth petition.
