Carolyn Walker, ARNP is co-owner of a multidisciplinary clinic, Prevention & Healing of Iowa.  Her practice involves family practice, women’s health issues, endocrine imbalances and detoxification in the context of functional medicine.  She graduated from the University of Iowa with a Master of Science in Nursing and is board-certified through ANCC as a Family Nurse Practitioner.  She is a knowledgeable national and local speaker on bioidentical hormones. 

Carolyn is a professional health member of Women in Balance, a national nonprofit association, based in Washington, DC, dedicated to helping women achieve optimal health, wellness and hormone balance through public education and the promotion of research.
