Pamela Bateman
Pamela Bateman is Chairperson of the Seventh Woman Foundation and Eagle Venture, and is Managing Partner of the Seventh Woman, Inc. After five years as an academic dean and another five years as manager of a large beltway company, Ms. Bateman started her own company in the Washington, D.C. area. For fifteen years, she used her communications skills to lobby D.C. through the use of sophisticated graphics and video production. When her own menopause hit, she decided to use her professional experience to start another company whose purpose is to create easy-to-grasp communications tools that simplify the complex bio-chemistry of hormone issues. She believes that with the right tools and information, women can manage their own wellness issues and stay vibrant. Concerned about the breast cancer rate of women of all ages, especially with synthetic hormone use after menopause, Ms. Bateman created The Seventh Woman Foundation, naming it to emphasize the breast cancer rate of women in America. Her company donates money to the Seventh Woman Foundation through the sale of its educational products. |
